I logged in today to try and figure out an email issue that I have been having and when I went to use the sudo command I received the same unable to resolve error that is described in this thread, I have looked over all of my files that have been described as being the offending files but all of mine seem to be alright. I have just recently upgraded to 8.04 and have had successful results so far minus a few issues.
